2014 Dayton Christian Golf Team Off to Record-Breaking Start to Season

Only three competitive rounds into the season, the 2014 Dayton Christian Varsity Golf Team is off to a record-setting start.

On Thursday August 14th, the 2014 squad shot the best 9-hole team
score (157) in school history! Also, only three matches into his high
school golf career, Freshman Philip Miller has already tied both the
Dayton Christian 9-hole and 18-hole individual school scoring records.

Members of the team include Seniors Evan Brouwer (Team Captain), Tom
Henry Nuess, and Ryan Shupert; Juniors Shannon Davis and Matthew Kuhn;
Sophomores Ben Kiser and Cole Wamsley; and Freshman Philip Miller.

Coached by Adam Josefczyk and Theresa Kiser, the Dayton Christian
Golf Team looks to continue their hot play on Monday in the Fairborn
Invitational 18-hole tournament.

Commenting on the team's success, Coach Josefczyk said, "It's an
honor to coach such a great group alongside Coach Kiser. They epitomize
the confidence of youth and are having a blast out there on the course.
Each round, they hit the first tee with exceptional attitudes and
character, feeding off of each other's energy and momentum."
