Dan Moore returns as Emmanuel Christian's AD

Emmanuel welcomes Coach Moore and his family as they return to ECA
this month.  Coach Moore will serve as Athletic Director and Boys
Varsity Basketball Coach.

Coach Moore received his undergraduate degree from Cedarville
University, where he majored in Sport Management/Physical Education and
minored in Business.  His graduate degree is a Master of Education in
Educational Leadership from Cedarville University.

When Coach Moore was previously working at Emmanuel, he helped to build
the athletic program competitively and lead the process of ECA becoming
an OHSAA member school.  He also instituted ECA membership into the
Metro Buckeye Conference. Coach Moore has coached basketball for 14
years, including 12 years on the varsity level, and held a 135-76
coaching record at ECA from 2001-2011. In 2010, Coach Moore was awarded
MBC coach of the year and Clark County Sportsmanship Coach of the Year.

Most recently, he has worked at Urbana University in admissions and Clark State Community College as an academic counselor.

Coach Moore and his wife, Lynette, have three boys that will be attending ECA this fall.

When asked about his personal statement of belief regarding athletics,
Coach Moore responded, "I am enthusiastic about being back in a setting
where we can integrate faith and Christian worldview into competitive
athletic programs. ECA athletes are expected to work hard in
preparation, work together with their teammates, be respectful and
guided by their coaches, and be evident in their Christian testimony.
Participation in our athletic program will contribute to growth in
sportsmanship, character development, understanding role, and the
development of the whole student as we prepare them to live out God’s
will for their lives."

Thank you for joining the ECA family as we welcome back Coach Moore.
