Morgan Vaughan recently signed to play soccer for Cincinnati Christian University where she plans to pursue a degree in business.

This was Morgan's third year on the varsity team where she was a defensive leader and helped the team reach the district championships. She received the Kettering Sports Medicine Sportsmanship Award for her excellent play and character.

"Morgan is one of the most technically sound players on the team," said Coach Jessica Orme. "I have enjoyed watching Morgan grow into a strong, dependable defensive leader. Not only does Morgan have impressive skills, but she also has strong character. She is a very unselfish teammate and is always willing to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed. She is enthusiastic, creative and a blast to be around."

Vaughan is looking forward to a collegiate career and appreciates the scholarship offered to her by CCU. However, she also values its location.

"It's close to home," said Vaughan. "And I'll get to play soccer and do so fairly soon.
