Middletown Christian baseball preview

04/01/2011

Chris Conger has been a player or assistant coach at Middletown Christian for 15 years, but now gets his first chance to be head coach. Conger is taking over for Terry Wallace, who is currently serving a tour of duty in Kuwait.

“I’ve learned a lot from Terry, and I still talk to him through email a couple times a week,” Conger said. “Our four seniors (Kelly Robinson, Jake Irving, Marcus Miller and Alec Lewis) have been coached all through school by Terry and we are going to rely on them a lot.”

The Eagles have won four of the last six Metro Buckeye Conference titles, finishing second in the other two seasons.
