DC vs Badin Men's Soccer (Sept 6, 2011)


The Warriors faced off against Badin last night. The boys got on the score board early as Alex Lupinek found Christian Alexander breaking to the goal for his first goal. A few minutes later Daniel Erlandson won the ball and played it to Andrew Lupinek who threaded it through the defense to Christian Alexander who hit the back of net for his second goal. Badin answered late in the first half to close the gap 2-1. Badin came out and hit a shot to tie the game early in the second half. DC took control from there. Daniel Erlandson and Alec Fisco shut Badin down. Halfway through the second period Brent Schilling got the ball through traffic to Tad Williams who chipped the goalie for DC’s third goal of the night. Later Christian Alexander was fouled. Alex Lupinek fed the free kick to Christian Alexander who finished his hat trick and the game ended DC 4 and Badin 2. Alex Link had 4 important saves to protect the victory.
